Book Review: Mind Over Body

I won this book on a blog giveaway recently and am so glad that I did! I hadn’t heard of it before, but I have to say it really is one of the better books on the topic of weight loss. Why? Because it focuses more on health and the reasons why you want to get fit personally, instead of focusing on being thin.

Health in mind and body is the main message, and the plan given to achieve it is really good. Eat better, move more, with a focus on weight lifting (very important for women I may add). The best part, it’s a resonable plan, less than a half an hour (24 mins) a day, 5 days a week, and cutting your calories by 500 a day based on your body’s needs (the book explains how to find your right caloric intake). I am excitedly starting the plan today, and can’t wait to see and feel the changes in my energy level.

Five out of five stars!
