I totally watched this cartoon when I was younger. I even had a Rainbow Brite doll (and a stuffed Puppy Brite doll too). My friends and I loved to play “Rainbow Brite”, I can’t remember what we would pretend, but I know that we all wanted to have a horse named Starlite. And of course we had to defeat the villain, Murky Dismal.

The Wikipedia has a lot of information about the show that I didn’t even remember. Did you know there was a villain named Count Blogg? LOL! That one made me laugh since blogging is such a big thing now, but his super power was changing people into frogs. Another thing that I had forgotten about was the look of the actual cartoon. So of course I had to go to YouTube with the hopes that there would be something Rainbow Brite there, and sure enough! There was! Here is a funny clip from the show:
