There is something so beautiful about the more formal gardens of Italy and other European countries. It’s a gardening style that has always captured my imagination, although it is one that I would not attempt to replicate in my own garden. I would love to make a small part of the garden look like something from the photos, but can you imagine trying to keep it so pristine?
Our garden tends to be more wild and natural, especially compared to the order and symmetry of European gardens. It’s still quiet fun to dream though. Imagining a garden party in a beautiful landscape makes me wish for a large mansion with gardeners and caterers at the ready.
For now I would be content with a proper deck and patio. What are your garden dreams?
