Happiness from a widget!
My widget made me so happy this morning! Could spring really be here?! I sure hope so, because I am more than ready to get out into the garden and do some much needed clean up. I also found that we are going to have a big project ahead of us in removing the Spanish Cane that is growing in our back corner. Turns out it’s pretty invasive stuff that is a fire hazard even when green.
Oh, and there aren’t even any bugs that will eat it. Fire only makes it come back stronger. And the root balls can weigh up to 5 pounds! Yes friends, this is going to be a fun one. However, it will make more room in that corner for my Japenese style garden spot (or, a boring, practical option that has been talked about, a shed).
Is spring arriving in your part of the world?
Yes, today was BEAUTIFUL! I’m just thrilled about it. I love that I had to open windows today to cool the house down!
