Hurray for The Impossible Project!

I was so happy to get this email today from The Impossible Project:

We are proud and excited that our ambitions and all the relentless work we have already invested are now becoming the foundation for Polaroid’s comeback as a producer of Instant Cameras.

Large-scale production and worldwide sale of The Impossible Project’s new integral film materials under its own brand will already start in the beginning of 2010 – with a brand new and astonishing black and white Instant Film and the first colour films to follow in the course of the year.

I LOVE my Polaroid cameras, and can’t wait for the new film to come out so I can start using the medium once again. The idea of black and white instant film sounds amazing as well. And speaking of Polaroids, be sure to check out Polaroid Notes, a set of notecards which features a 2 photographs from my friend Jenny.

And also, just because it’s fun and I love technology… there is an application for the iPhone that turns a photo that you take with the phone into a Polaroid style picture. It’s called Shake, after what we all do with the instant film. Of course, you don’t actually have to shake your Polaroids, but we all do it. :)

So happy to know that I can be taking more Polaroid photos in 2010!

I’ll put a spell on you!

Little witch

We got this adorable witch costume from Target last year. We thought it was so detailed and cute, we just couldn’t pass it up. Baby won’t wear hats, but it did come with a witch hat. We still think it’s cute, even without the hat.

This year, Baby got a clown costume for review from GW Little. You can see that post here if you like. It’s going to be hard to choose just one costume for her this year, she also has a skeleton shirt and a glow in the dark Happy Halloween shirt. What a spoiled little dog (all dogs deserve to be spoiled).
