Already a senior?

I swear, sometimes I must already be a senior! I suffer from brain fade on occasion. I even sometimes get cold when the air conditioning is on. Also, I like to eat dinner early.
Apparently this means that I am an “early bird”, and it seems that most early birds get a special AARP discount!
I have always eaten dinner a bit early, because by 5:00pm I am pretty darn hungry! It’s been at least 5 hours since lunch, and usually there hasn’t been a snack in between. However, I have noticed in a lot of television shows they make fun of those who eat early. Yes, even calling them old fogies!
I still have many years before I can truly get an early bird special (despite the number of grays gracing my head). At least that is one benefit of cooking all our own meals, dinner is served when I say so! No AARP discount required.
