DIY Drama Finalist!
I got a fun email today letting me know that we were a finalist in the True Value DIY Drama contest. The winner will be chosen by people’s votes, and you can come vote for us daily until December 4th if you think we should win.
I saw some of the other entries too, and I feel kind of badly asking people to vote for us. Compared to some, our DIY blunder doesn’t seem so bad! My entry is a video, which means that you will get to hear me talk about our project. And I really don’t know why I kept calling our air conditioner a heating and air unit. I know it doesn’t have anything to do with heat. LOL! So come by, enjoy the silliness, and if you think we deserve to win, cast a vote for us. Thanks!
Aimee! I’m so glad you popped over today and for your sweet comment. I had to come looking for you, but I wanted to say ‘thank you!’ I know. I agree. True Value should award all of the finalists a prize! Maybe they’ll surprise us? It’s obvious we’re big dreamers anyway, right? What’s a little more dreaming at their expense? Keeping my fingers crossed!
The other entries are all so deserving (yours included). It’s so tough. It breaks my heart when people are let down.
I’m not even sure where I stand and I certainly don’t expect to win either. I’ve just been a crazy lady begging and pleading on my blog and every where else I can, but who knows how other finalists get the word out. I guess it’s all a part of the drama.
I’m so glad we met though. I met Meleah (the video with her 3 kids) through my blog too. She’s sweet. Even if we don’t win – I still feel like a winner. The support and help from blog friends has been amazing. Some of the best people I know, I haven’t heard their voice or seen their face (well, except we’ve heard each others voices now!).
