The broken bed.

Our bed, our most favorite, leather padded headboard with the perfect color to match our furniture. It broke.

Our broken bed.

The foot board, which according to my hubby, had been preparing to break for sometime now, finally gave up a few weeks back and came down with a crash. It is currently being held up by a stack of old computer books. The bed now slopes down towards the side without the books, even though we took out one of the books when we first noticed it. Guess what side is up higher? Mine… which means that I sleep on a small slope.

There isn’t an easy fix, though we have talked about a few options. My vote was to put the headboard on our old bed frame (which we happen to still have) because it is free and wouldn’t take much extra effort. My hubby thought we could build a platform, but who knows when we would be able to do so, he is so busy. Of course I dream that we could afford to buy this gorgeous bed from Pottery Barn right now! Under the bed storage drawers would rock my world. We could even keep our awesome headboard. Too bad it’s a budget buster at $1800!

The books are also a major toe hazard. I have more than once stubbed multiple toes on them, so has my hubby. Maybe we should just get rid of the bed and put in hammocks instead. LOL… I can just imagine us falling out in the middle of the night.

Hmmm…

I am still working on Pulse. Yep.

The hoop is getting closer to the goal. In fact, I have achieved getting it up to my armpits smoothly twice now. It didn’t stay there long at all, and I can’t seem to do it every time I try, but it did happen.

And this has nothing at all to do with hula hoops, but I am so glad that the ASPCA and Virgin Airlines helped these adorable dogs. Animals are a passion of mine, and I hope for the day when all homeless pets find forever homes.

Off to practice some more, I am finding that carving out enough time has become a bit tricky lately. How do you best find time in your day to hoop?
