Comments (2) I just wanted to wish my dad a very happy birthday today! He doesn’t read this blog, but if he ever did stumble across it in his internet travels I would want him to see that I was thinking of him on his big day!
Of course, I am going to see him in a few hours to celebrate. With all his diet restrictions due to diabetes, the usual birthday cake won’t be present, but there will still be presents and other kinds of fun!
It’s hard to believe he is 73!!
The weather today was absolutely gorgeous and spring like! The sun was out, it was winter warm (I believe it reached 40 degrees F), snow was even melting. Winter is not my favorite time of the year, I miss being able to work in the garden and I often find myself day dreaming of gardening.
I came across this image and was floored! I would love for my garden to be this gorgeous. Ours is still very much a work in progress, and of course we have our growing zone to contend with too, but oh I dream of lush gardens like this one!
