Yesterday was the arrival of spring, and the arrival of our first crops of the season! I love that I was able to go to the nursery yesterday and buy things to plant in our garden. I got broccoli and cauliflower. We hope to have a crop to eat this time around (we ran out of time in the fall). I love spring, and have determined that it’s not just that I enjoy sunshine and being outside. I think I actually NEED it to feel completely well, physically and emotionally. Do you feel that way too?
The winner for the Listography book was lucky #3, Juliette. All of your suggestions were so awesome and fun. My new list starts today (which is also my Mom’s birthday). It can be found under the 101 button. I am hopeful to be able to cross off all my items this time around. I baked a cake for our celebration later, with a fun surprise inside (hopefully it worked). It’s always fun to celebrate another year!

This morning consisted of green oatmeal, which had my husband worried until I reminded him it was for Saint Patrick’s Day! I have a feeling there will be more green foods to come today, though I am not cooking anything traditionally Irish.
