We haven’t done a single thing recently. At least not house project wise.
I have a dream of a closet though. Our master closet is walk in, but it’s about as simple as it gets. Rods, shelves, and a ton of wasted space. I would love to add organization, complete with drawers, more shelves for folded items, and a better over all layout.
Have you seen a system called Freedom Rails? They use them a lot on Clean House, and they seem pretty easy to install. I don’t have any experience with them though, and no one we know has installed them. I have also seen some systems at places like Home Depot and Lowe’s. I even think that if we had time to do so, we could build a custom closet of wood (my husband is quiet good at building things).
But overall, we haven’t been doing any projects. There are plenty to do, but sometimes it’s good to just enjoy what is already done.

Adorable squirrel, inside of an equally adorable log, seeks plant for long term happiness. Looking for a plant that will enjoy sitting in the sun, listening to music, and the occasional nibble from the resident bird. You can expect to be watered at all times, and to always look cute. Will you be mine?
I just got this fun self watering pot. I can’t wait to put a plant in it, and add water so I can see the squirrel pop up. I found it here.

Oh so very tired, both in mind and body recently. The sunshine has been teasing us. Showing up, then disappearing. Snow is in the forecast again! It’s been windy tonight, and the gloomy skies make me even more sleepy.

I guess I will just have to make the most of the spring like moments when they are around. Savor the moments while they are there. In honor of savoring snowy moments too, if the flakes do fly, I will have some hot chocolate. Also, very much loving this line from Moulin Rouge right now… isn’t it just true?

I have flooring on my mind, and this image caught my eye for many reasons. What an interesting space! The mural on the door, the chain supporting the counter, and yes, the flooring.
