Hippity Hop Hop!

By , April 2, 2010

I LOVE Easter. I know, you all thought Halloween was my favorite holiday, but Easter takes the cake! I can’t get enough of spring, bunnies, and of course our traditional bunny cake. Today we revived an old tradition of making little bunny baskets for people. Three of them are set to go to my parent’s neighbors, complete with sugar free chocolates for the diabetics. One I made for my hubby, who will get a fun surprise when he comes home from work.

We used to make these all the time, and usually we would cut out pink paper for the ears, but we didn’t have any pink paper handy. I think they turned out just as cute using just markers. They are simple to make too of course, just brown lunch sacks (we used the large size), a pair of scissors, markers, and your imagination! Inside there is “grass”, and of course, the treats!

Do you have special Easter traditions?
