I turn 35 this Thursday! I can hardly believe it! I certainly don’t feel like I should be in my thirties, let alone 35! In my mind I feel much younger, but I hear that is how it is for everyone.
Just for fun, here is my birthday wish list. I know some are a bit “out there” budget wise, but it never hurts to put it out there!
- A mix CD with your favorite songs and/or songs that remind you of times we spent together.
- This Hello Kitty watch from Swatch.
- A dinner that I don’t have to cook, or pick up.
- New walking shoes, and a gym membership too.
- An overnight someplace fun with my hubby.
- The Electra Swing Tandem 3i bike.
- New rollerblade wheels.
- The Hello Kitty Fender guitar.
- A garden dome green house.
- A B-52′s tee. The first concert I ever went to!
This photo has nothing to do with turning 35, but I found it funny. It was on a mini-golf course that we tried to play on last week. I say try, because although this photo looks nice, a few seconds after I took it, the rain started and it got very windy.

The first roses of 2010 (photo taken June 6). Notice that there is still snow on the mountains in the background? Yep, June in the Rockies is quite the mix of weather.
We went to a Scottish Festival on Friday night. It was a lot of fun, and it was also very cold! We have been having rain, and 50 degree weather, despite the fact that it’s JUNE! As you can see, this merry group of kilts and bagpipes are getting all wet.

Also, we got some treats that they don’t sell here in the states. Why we don’t get to have things like this in our regular shops I will never know, but Nestle, start selling Aero here in America please!! This is the mint version and it is so very tasty.

There was also a very fun concert from a group called the Wicked Tinkers. They rocked! It was really high energy and fun, even if we were totally freezing cold. We even had our winter coats on for heavens sake! Because it was cold and raining, a lot of the shops weren’t open and we didn’t see any Highland games either. We did have some fish and chips though! And no, we did not eat haggis.
