Bubbles, veggies, and other stuff.
Baby often gets fun items to “review” for our animal blog. Recently she got a Bubble Buddy from ThinkGeek.com. It shoots out bacon flavored bubbles that are safe to eat. She was excited about it before it ever even came out of the package! You can see a video of her trying to get it open by clicking here if you want.
We are having a bounty of tomatoes from our tomato plant right now. Today when I went out to see if any were ready, there was one that had been half eaten! My guess is that our little squirrel friend has visited again. It’s always really nice to have fresh veggies that you don’t have to run to the store to buy.
The coneflowers are doing really well right now. Did you know that they will spread? We have them popping up in all kinds of new spots in our garden. I didn’t know that they would do that, but am happy that they are! I love the purple, and the brightly colored centers. So pretty!
Our weekend included the usual yard work on Saturday! Also, I checked out the local farmers market, which was much more craft and food vendor market than actual farm goods. Not bad though, there were some stands with honey and fresh veggies. I will have to go back again with some money. We also celebrated my sister in laws birthday on Sunday. All other time was spent trying to relax and recharge for the coming week!

I can see myself pointing that bacon bubble gun at one of my siblings and have them chase the bubbles around the house with their mouths open. x) Hey, bacon bubbles aren’t just for doggies!
Will you post a video of Baby attacking the bubbles? That just sounds too cute.
Those flowers are beautiful! I wish I had thought to start a garden. I love fresh produce and lovely flowers. =)
I had a lazy weekend, which is fine, since my upcoming week is sure to be hectic.
