It’s that time of the year when the weather doesn’t know what it wants to be. The morning was lovely, then suddenly the temperatures dropped, dark clouds rolled in, wind and rain came. Then, as if nothing had happened, it became sunny and warmed back up. The darker, cooler, part of the day was perfect for making rolls though!
And of course, they are now all gone! Nothing like warm rolls fresh from the oven. These came from the frozen Rhodes dough, which I like to keep on hand, just in case we need rolls. Sometimes, we need rolls.
You did know that Sanrio is celebrating 50 years right? Chococat and Keroppi made their way home with me the other day. Yes, I went to Build-a-Bear just for the fun Sanrio stuff they have in celebration of Sanrio’s 50th. I got some very cute Sanrio key chains too (for free), a smaller version of Chococat, Keroppi, and then a Deery Lou and My Melody. I only wish they had had a big Deery Lou!!

Chococat is my favorite! I have several of his items
I love Chococat too!
Oh, you gotta love the end-of-the-summer weather. It’s like a child on a long car trip, inquiring about the autumn: “Are we there yet? Are we there yet?”
I love Sanrio! Those plushies are adorable! ^_^
LOL! Good analogy.
Seriously, I was in love with Sanrio as a kid. I had every single pen and eraser that you could find with all the characters on them. I loved Keroppi so much. Sigh…I miss those!
