The garden is starting to wind down for the year. Fall seems to arrive more and more each day. Pretty soon, the roses will stop blooming, but here is a photo of one of our roses to enjoy.
The pumpkin patch is getting ready for harvesting, and Miss Franny Flamingo is already dressed in her Halloween outfit. Here she is among the pumpkins, and just look at how big the pumpkin behind her is!
Of course, it’s also getting colder at night, which means that very soon it will be time to pull out the heavier blankets and make a fall/winter bed. The cooler weather has been great for cooking outside though, and we are going to enjoy our grill as much as possible before the snow comes.

Saw this video by OK GO over on spabettie, and of course I just had to share it too! OK GO always seems to have the most creative ideas for their music videos. Remember their treadmill video? That was pretty awesome, but of course, this video has some cute dogs in it, so I have to say it might just take the cake.
Of course, having traveled to Russia, this photo in our Home As Art group caught my eye. I love the blue in the Matyroshka dolls, and how they pick up on the blues in the rest of the image. What about in your house? How do you display the treasures from your travels?
Life is just one big fun experiment! Exploring nature, photography, cooking, DIY, science, technology, and anything else that catches our fancy. My lab partner and I share our laboratory with our adorable pets, and our ever growing flock of pink flamingos. Need to get in touch? Feel free to email me!
