Five day weekend!
You read that right, a 5 day weekend is being had as I type! My husband has a good job (one of many things we are thankful for this year), and they give everyone the day after Thanksgiving off. Being the smart cookie that he is, he takes the day before Thanksgiving off too, thus affording himself a luxurious 5 day weekend!
Baby especially loves the holidays when she gets very spoiled. Yes, she gets to indulge in some “people food” on holidays. Her favorites this year? Rolls (of course), green beans with melted Velveeta cheese, and turkey. As you can see, she is particularly good at the “I’m here looking cute, so give me what I want” routine. And really, who could resist those little eyes?
It has also been very, very, very, cold here! Today I noticed some fun ice formations in the garden, including the above which to me look like ice grapes. Hot chocolate will be flowing freely around here for the next few months.
We didn’t participate in Black Friday at all. I do love the idea of supporting Small Business Saturday though! But then, I always love to support the underdogs! What about you? Did you get into the Black Friday madness? Or did you sleep in and enjoy the day off?

Never heard of small business saturday, but I like it! Never been a black friday gal myself. Enjoy your 5 day weekend!
Thank you for stopping by Nicole! We have been enjoying the weekend a lot. I hope you did a bit of shopping at a small biz on Saturday!
Happy Thanksgiving Aimee and yes, a good long weekend to relax and have a good time with you.
Love the ice formation, very nice
The only Black Friday shopping I did was to hit up Trader Joe’s for some groceries and download some music from itunes.
We got burritos from a local place, but that was the only shopping we did that day. We didn’t even do any online!!
