Lately I have been trying to work on new hoop tricks, and have been finding that I am truly stuck. I know that a lot of hoopers say that they get some tricks easily, while others take a really long time. This appears to be true for me too. Luckily, it’s still a whole heck of a lot of fun to try!

Shameless plug: If you have ever wanted to try hula hooping, in my shop I have an awesome deal. It includes a travel hoop, strap, and a DVD, for just $40. We actually have two of these hoops in our house, and while I usually use my smaller, heavier hoop, I find that the travel hoop is great for trying to learn tricks because it is lighter. It’s also pretty in the sun because the silver reflects the light! It’s a great starter kit if you have been curious about getting started. The DVD is great too.

So, remember that whole “I’m going to learn all these tricks this year” announcement? Turns out that while I am learning a lot of tricks, there is still so much to learn!!
