There are many stories to tell about the conference I’m attending, but very little time to tell them right now. I just had to pop in and share a few photos though!

The sunsets recently have been just amazing. The above photo was taken in my backyard, and yes, it really was that color. The moon setting this morning was beyond beautiful, but hard to capture.

This is the courtyard at the hotel where the conference is taking place. I love going out into it, and sitting by the fountain. Strangely, I am always the only one out there. I hope other people are taking advantage of the awesomeness too. Maybe it’s just too cold for the non-natives. LOL.
And last but not least, the photo my hubby thought was totally weird of me to take. The mushroom in my soup.

But really now, it was totally cute enough to warrant a photo!! Tasty too. More stories and photos to come soon.
I’ll be away from the blog for the week while I take a semi-staycation! This week is a busy one! African dance class (love, love, love), the Altitude Summit, a little time with the girls, keeping Baby calm and happy, and oh yes, the usual things one has to do in a week! I can’t imagine fitting in blogging as well!! LOL.

Don’t worry, Baby will keep an eye on things while I’m gone.

One of the things that everyone must eventually learn to do is to take care of their money. It’s much easier when you are young, single, and have few obligations! Eventually though, we all grow up and begin to take on more and more responsibility, like buying cars, getting married, buying a home, having pets/children to look after. Money is supremely important in our lives, yet few of us talk openly about how we manage (or mismanage) our money. I think this is sad actually, because I bet we could learn a lot from each other.

I feel like there has been a lot going on, of course most of it has to do with Baby and her recovery from surgery. Maybe you are getting a bit tired of seeing her sweet, furry, face? So, here is a fun list of things happening recently.
- My “Message Bean” is growing! The message on the bean? I <3 You! (photo)
- I enjoyed a lovely lunch with friends, at a new to me place called Gloria’s Little Italy. Or rather, I enjoyed some delicious vanilla gelato! The owners are from Italy, so everything is very authentic. Girl time is always good too!
- Been busy trying to figure out what to pack for the Altitude Summit. Can’t believe it’s happening this week! I am trying to make sure I don’t leave anything out. Especially chargers for things like the lap top and camera. Would hate to lose battery power on those things!
- It’s finally above freezing here! Oh happy day.
- We got a Kinect for Christmas. It’s a lot of fun. We play the Kinect Adventures
game and are always shocked to find how out of shape we are. And we work out too! I guess we just don’t do a lot of jumping in our daily lives.
- I meant to mention this before, but we saw Tron Legacy in 3D! Wow! Daft Punk is a favorite of ours anyway, but they did such an amazing job on the movie soundtrack. I can’t imagine anyone else doing it. I’m curious if they were the ones in the DJ booth during the club scene. I hope they were.
It’s a 3 day weekend, which is great. My hubby is home, we have been watching some movies and enjoying the time off. It’s always so nice to know that we don’t have to do anything major to enjoy time off together. I hope you have a great weekend too!
