Valentine’s day is always so much fun! I know many people don’t love it, but personally I think having a holiday dedicated to LOVE is just plain awesome!

Here are some things that I am loving lately, a little love list!

  • Kinect games. SO much fun!
  • Having so many fun and interesting books to read and share with you (soon).
  • Funny movies, super dumb movies, touching movies.
  • Colds that only last two days! FTW!
  • Getting take out from new places.
  • The way the fish make cute sounds, which in turn inspires our bird to start making cute sounds in return.
  • African dance class. So. Much. Fun.
  • Sunshine and warmth! It was 45F today, so I hooped outside! Heaven.
  • Being silly with loved ones.

Valentine’s Day Gifts for Geeks!

I am proud to say that I am a geek. I love video games, gadgets, and science. So does my hubby! A match made in geek heaven you could say!

Luckily, there is an awesome online store dedicated just to geeks, and they have a ton of unique and geeky Valentine’s Day gifts. They sent some of the love my way for this feature, and I can truly say I love each and every thing they sent!

Here is what I got to check out:

  • 8-Bit Flower Bouquet- Why send real flowers when you can revisit the good old days of 8-bit gaming?! This adorable bouquet is now sitting in my kitchen, making me smile each time I see it. Oh yes, and it won’t die! As it says on the site “Sometimes Even Self-Rescuing Princesses Need Flowers”!
  • Caffeine molecule necklace- I love the way it looks, and let’s face it, it’s fun to have jewelry that is unique. I really don’t know anyone else who has a caffeine molecule to wear (of course, that’s bound to change now that you all see how awesome they are). “Caffeine. Now Available in Bling.”
  • Anatomical Heart Necklace- This pretty, and anatomically correct, heart necklace seriously sparkles. Made of pewter, and made to look like the real deal, it’s another super unique way to show your love.
  • Shower Shock Caffeine Bubble Bath- This strawberry scented bubble bath won’t just help you relax. No friends, this one is caffeinated! So, you can prepare a bubble bath for your honey, and they won’t come out of it all sleepy like. Relaxing and invigorating at the same time? A crazy contradiction, but oh so fun.
  • Circuit Sweetheart Necklace- A delicate love heart circuit board. Very geek chic! Stainless steel heart, with a sliver chain, and every bit as lovely as your first computer hard drive. Oh alright, it’s WAY prettier than that!

There are other fun things there too, and hey, these aren’t just great gifts for Valentine’s Day either friends! Any geek would love to get something fun from Think Geek any day of the year.
