One of my favorite blogs, Carrots ‘N’ Cake, is now a wonderful book! Carrots ‘N’ Cake: Healthy Living One Carrot and Cupcake at a Time includes personal accounts of how Tina and her husband live a healthy life without cutting out everything fun and tasty!
It was a fun read, and I really loved that recipes were included in the book as well. In fact, there are over 50 recipes that even include desserts. Healthier versions of course, which is just plain awesome, since I think we would all love to eat healthier foods without sacrificing our favorites.
It’s not just about the food though. There are also great ideas for living well and making time for working out, keeping a good attitude, and putting your most important relationships first. I liked the idea of distraction over snacking, since so many of us eat out of boredom sometimes.
I haven’t been reading Tina’s blog for very long, so a lot of the information in the book was new to me. And as much as I adore her blog (and blogs in general), it is really so nice to have all the great recipes in a book that I can pull of the shelf anytime I want to create something healthy and need inspiration! Carrots ‘N’ Cake: Healthy Living One Carrot and Cupcake at a Time is a great little book for anyone looking to add more healthy habits to their lives.
