Happy 4th of July!
Wishing you a very happy 4th! We have had an extra long weekend since the holiday lands on a Monday. It’s been full of activity of course, visiting family, helping family move, and of course, watching all the fireworks! For the first time EVER, aerial fireworks are legal in our state. Yes, there were always those who traveled to Wyoming to pick up a few, but wow this year the sky has been full of firework fun! It’s like free fireworks shows daily. Awesome.
I didn’t make these (yet) but I fell instantly in love with the idea:

In other news, there is a Darth Vader hot air balloon in town and I really want to see it. So far though, we haven’t been able to drag our bums out of bed to get to the park at 6:30AM to see it. We have one more chance tomorrow morning, but if the past few days are any indication, we might have to be content with just seeing the photos! There’s also a Coke bottle hot air balloon, in addition to the big pig that is always part of the hot air balloon festival.
