Today is the last day for the American Dog Rescue costume contest on Facebook. We need your votes for our little witch!
If we win, we get a $250 donation to an animal charity of our choice (plus we get a much needed gift card for pet supplies as well). Our donation will be given to our favorite place, Best Friends Animal Sanctuary!
Right now I have no idea how our photo is doing in the standings, but if you are able, please visit the costume contest and then give that “love it” button a click for our Baby! Thank you!! Spread the word on Facebook and Twitter too if you can, we sure would love to win this for Best Friends!
Just a few random items that deserve to be posted about, but may not actually go together much. Enjoy!

I was recently tuned into this site called Crowdtap when I saw an online conversation about Old Navy samples! Are you kidding me? I would venture a guess that a good 70% of my wardrobe comes from Old Navy! I went exploring on Google to find out how to take part in that and the program was running through Crowdtap. I signed right up!
Anyway, the site is pretty neat, you get to choose a charity (I picked ASPCA) and then you also have a chance to review products and give input to companies. You can also earn gift cards for yourself. If you decide to join in, I would love if you did so through my link so we can be friends (and I get points too).
I am sure you have heard of the penguins who needed sweaters. Aren’t they just so adorable?! Read all about the penguins, and the outpouring of sweaters, at The Yarn Kitchen.
Please go and vote for Kristina’s awesome pepper Jack-o-Lanterns! Aren’t they adorable? And I have to say, I bet they are just as tasty to eat as they are fun to look at. She is in the Yummly Halloween recipe contest, and I would love to see her win it! To vote, just click on this link and while you are on the page click the FB Like button. Easy peasy!
This room is amazing. I don’t know who to credit for the photo, but when it was sent to me I totally see why. Do you see what is on that wallpaper? Flamingos! A few years ago I actually found similar wallpaper online, and was very tempted to get a roll to do an accent wall with it. After seeing it used like this I might just be able to convince my husband that flamingo wallpaper would indeed be awesome in our house.
What will you be doing for Halloween? We will be carving pumpkins, handing out candy, and of course, dressing up! Here is what Halloween looks like around our house this year (through the fun that is Instagram that is)!
