The autumnal solstice has arrived, and fall is officially here. The weather, though cooler at night, it still quiet warm in the day time (in the 80s) and as such the garden is still growing.

An awesome patch of mushrooms popped up. I’m just sad that they aren’t edible, because we sure do have a lot of them!

There have been so many bees this year! It’s great to see it, maybe bees are recovering.

And of course, there have been a lot of spiders this year too. Spiders don’t bother me, as long as they stay outside where they live and don’t come into our house. Check out this funnel web!

Is it starting to feel like fall where you live?
One thing that my husband and I like to do is to play with cameras. This past weekend was no exception to that rule as my husband wanted to enter a contest for EVGA. The prize? A 3D monitor and glasses. How sweet would that be?! The rule was that you had to have their logo in the photo, and your photo could be 2D or 3D. Obviously we went for the 3D because we love it.

Personally I think his image should take the prize, not only because he is my husband, but because it has so much 3D effect in it. Plus, I love the idea of the hand holding the box, it really brought the logo front and center.
Break out your 3D glasses (red and blues) and have a gander. If you have a Flickr account it would be awesome if you left him a comment letting him know you thought the image was awesome. Comments don’t affect the contest, but I’m sure he would get a kick out of seeing them!
Do you know how to make 3D images? Would you like me to post a tutorial here on how to do it?
