Pink Ladies

By , May 3, 2010

How was I unaware of Pink Ladies? Luckily for me, Renee posted on her status about them. I had to know, what was a Pink Lady? Silly me, it’s an apple. Of course I had to try them right away. And also of course, I had to take a photo or two. First a normal photo of the apples.

And next a “through the viewfinder” photo which turned out very cool (at least I think so). The camera viewfinder that I shot through was my “golden half” camera (via Photojojo), and the camera that took both photos was my Olympus Stylus 710.

And of course, the most important part of all… they are yummy! Seriously, how did I not know about them before? I am woefully uneducated in the world of apples. Thank goodness for friends who know a thing or two.

Pink, pink, pink.

Hot pink geraniums, in my aqua blue pots. A perfect way to celebrate Earth day, and brighten up our otherwise boring front porch.

The bleeding hearts are out in full bloom already. I love them.

A bright pink tulip in front of our welcoming frog. It’s nice that the tulips start to bloom just as the daffodils start to fade away. They aren’t gone yet though, there are still some “pink” daffodils in bloom:

Blossoming!

My favorite time of year, when trees start to blossom. Everything smells so good! Our flowering pear just started to let loose, so here are some photos I snapped today.
