Making mochi!

I was thrilled to see that my favorite online cooking show, Cooking with Dog, uploaded a new video! Not only was it exciting because the chef had been in a very serious accident and was in the hospital for quiet some time, and a new video meant she was back and well! But it was also exactly what I had been looking for!!! Mochi!

Since trying my first mochi at Happy Sumo, making it at home has been on top of my cooking to do list. Only problem was, I didn’t know how to do it. I can’t wait to give it a try! Here is the video, give it a watch, even if you aren’t planning to make mochi. It’s a pretty cute video, the “French” poodle makes me giggle every time.

Learning to skate.

Something you might not know about my husband is that he is a great skateboarder. Personally I think that he could have gone pro when he was young, if only he had been given more of a chance to do so. He is that good, and I’m not just saying it because he’s my husband.

So, when we heard that Tillman the Skateboarding dog was coming to BlogPaws he was pretty excited to come with me to see this dog wonder. A few months before, we had won a Tillman skateboard through a Twitter pawty, and we had hoped that maybe Baby would take a liking to skateboarding too.

You can see that she didn’t. She was much more interested in getting off of the skateboard and back into our arms. She’s 100% a “carry me” Baby. And while this is not the best video (taken on the phone mind you), you can see how excited Tillman is to get on that skateboard and skate!

The case of the curious dog.

One of the cutest things a dog can do is the curious head tilt. Baby has the head tilt down to a cute science, as you can see in the video below.

*Sorry friends, this was a Viddy video and that service is now gone. Sure wish it wasn’t, because I remember this being an adorable video.*

I just wish I noticed the spelling mistake I made when naming this video before it was too late to change it! LOL. What about your dog, do they do the adorable curious head tilt too?
