Tis the season!
The weather has become fall-like. We had been enjoying a gorgeous Indian Summer, but yesterday brought temperature changes and rain. It feels like October now. Here are some views of my Halloween decorations from years past. I am still in the process of putting up decorations for this year.

Fall Fashion For Flamingos
It’s almost October, so I thought it was close enough to dress Miss Franny in her Halloween attire. If you are new here, Miss Franny is our flamingo, and she has seasonal outfits that she likes to wear. Here she is in her finery.
And what would a good fall fashion shoot be without Miss Franny strutting her stuff in our pumpkin patch? Do you see the size of that pumpkin? It’s going to be big!

Busy, busy.
Ever get really busy, but then can’t really remember what has been keeping you so busy? This week has been a bit like that. Lots going on, but I can’t really remember all of it. Maybe a lot of it was mundane, but there have been some BIG things. First though, let me share with you a photo from my garden.
The tiniest little pumpkin! Sure to be the cutest pumpkin on the planet by the time Halloween arrives. Oh yes, and is it too early to be thinking of Halloween? Because I have been thinking of Halloween, fall crafts and cooking, for about a month already. Oh yes, and it didn’t help that Bath and Body Works put out this house (which is a candle holder)! It’s in my living room already. Is that so wrong?
Not much else going on other than helping my folks with their big exciting remodel! Not only are they updating their master bathroom, but the granite was such an amazing deal (through Costco) that they decided to go for it in the kitchen as well. Amazing what a difference it will make. Can’t wait to do a “before” and “after”. Luckily my hubby and I are all about the DIY and were able to help them with the prep for today when the granite arrived.
