The weekend went too fast.
Comments (1) Some weekends seem to drag on for a very long time, while others speed by too quickly. This weekend went too quickly. I still can’t believe that it is November, and it’s even harder to imagine that Thanksgiving and Christmas are both right around the corner. We have been enjoying Indian Summer, and most days it feels more like spring than fall… even though the evenings do get quiet cold.
This weekend we mowed our leaves, and already we need to mow them again. I spent a few hours in the yard hooping (going to miss that when the snow finally does arrive). We had a Transformers marathon, watched the Proposal, and even got a bit of work done on websites. I put out our Thanksgiving decor, which consists of three falling turkeys, one pictured above. I also finished my scarf, post to come soon.
Our wonderful bed, the one that was such a steal, the one with the awesome padded leather headboard and foot-board, broke. We had to prop the broken part up with a pile of books as a quick fix so we didn’t have to sleep on our couches last night. I am not sure how we are going to fix it, but I do know that my hubby is a genius and will figure it out no problem.
