Sanrio MIMOBOTS!

By , September 20, 2010

Sanrio has a special line of MIMOBOTs in honor of Sanrio’s 50th anniversary! As you know, I love Sanrio, and I love technology, so this news was super exciting to me. So, when Mimoco offered to send me one, I was over the moon happy! I decided to get the Chococat, and just look at how cute the Chococat MIMOBOT is!

Have you ever seen a cuter flash drive?! And Chococat isn’t the only one, they have a lot of your favorite Sanrio characters too! I don’t know about you, but I love having a flash drive handy, especially for storing photos. Being able to easily store and share photos on friends’ and family’s’ computers, and of course, for easy access when I want to print photos, is one of my favorite uses for a flash drive. Of course there are many other uses too, photo storage is just my favorite since I take loads of photos. Do you use them? What is your favorite use for a flash drive?

These flash drives come in a variety of memory sizes ranging from 2GB to 16GB. They also have some fun, pre-loaded goodies like wallpapers, screensavers and videos specific to each character. MIMOBOT flash drives can be purchased online at www.mimoco.com.

Review: ISIS Henna Sport Bra

By , September 11, 2010

I recently got a sample of the ISIS Henna Sport Bra for review. Honestly I was pretty excited because I had been looking for some new workout wear, and a great sport bra was top on my list of items to find. This bra is super soft, stretchy, and supportive! Everything that you could want in a sport bra. It’s also really stylish.

I really love the subtle, but gorgeous, henna inspired print on the bra. It’s tone on tone, but you can see it well. The bra is also seamless, one of my favorite things about it actually. I have always hated when seams dig into my sides, but with this bra, it’s not a problem at all.

Like I said, it’s very soft, and very stretchy. I love how easy it is to put on! The stretchiness of the bra makes it super easy to put on, while also making it very supportive. It is one of the most supportive sports bras that I have ever worn, but it is supportive and comfortable. I don’t feel like I am being held in too much, but just the right amount.

It’s also very stylish, and it makes me want to wear it all by itself (maybe one day when my abs are a bit more in shape). The purple color is great, and like I said, the henna inspired print is super pretty and feminine. The company, ISIS, has a lot of great options for women who love to be active and be in the outdoors. Lots of great clothing, underwear, and even some seriously cute hats and scarves too. Be sure to check them out if you are looking for some new pieces to add to your wardrobe!

I really love what they said about their company too:

At ISIS, we are passionate about growing the community of women who are inspired to live an active life. Our one goal in everything we do is to develop attractive performance clothing that fits women’s bodies and their lives.

If all of their clothing feel and fit as great as the sport bra I got to try does, they are going to become a new favorite of mine for sure! See all their goods at the ISIS website.

Riiflex for Wii

By , August 2, 2010

We are huge video game fans in our house, so it comes as no surprise that we have a Wii. The idea of playing games that actually get you up off the couch and being more active appealed to both of us, plus Nintendo has always been the platform of choice for some of our favorite games ever (Mario Kart, I’m talking about you!). So I was thrilled when I got the chance to try out a pair of dumbbells made just for use with the Wii, called Riiflex.

They are awesome! Sure, at first you think, 2 pounds, that’s not going to be very much of a difference, but wow! It certainly makes a big difference, I could feel it in my arms much more after using the Riiflex weights compared to just using the Wii remotes.

They are also very easy to use, just slip in the remote and nun-chuck, and you are good to go. I appreciated how they were contoured, and that they were easy to hold onto. It’s very easy to get the remote and nun-chuck into (and out of) the weights. If Nintendo had a wireless nun-chuck the weights would become even more perfect, but it is good to be careful with the wire that connects the two. For games that don’t use nun-chucks, I just didn’t connect the cord.

Other things that I loved? The price is well worth it at just $29.99. You can even get $5 off if you use the coupon code “DUMBBELL” at checkout. I loved the bright color, it is a good “pick me up” in the morning when I usually workout. I also thought that they are very good quality, and will likely last a long time.

So, if you have a Wii and want to add a bit more to your workout I would absolutely recommend getting a pair of the Riiflex weights. You might even want to get two pair so no one in your household has to fight over them! :)
