Getting snail mail is so much fun! Don’t you agree? Sure, getting bills isn’t that great, but there is always the possibility of opening the mailbox to find something fun inside. It’s been a great snail mail week around here. First, some chocolates for review on my animal blog (see post here).

Seriously yummy, and all but gone in seconds. By the way, if you haven’t enjoyed handmade, gourmet chocolates before (and I hadn’t), you must do it! It’s decadent. Our chocolates came from Sucre.

And secondly, and super awesomely, a gift from my friend Julie. She made me a personalized notebook, complete with Russian nesting doll (painted by her) on the front (Julie, I adore my book!!)! She included some other amazing tid bits as well. I especially love the coin purse, and the amazing smelling oils. Travel stickers were also included, as was a sweet note. Be sure to visit Julie’s Etsy shop when you get a chance too, she has some gorgeous original art pieces for sale.

I got the cutest thing in the mail from Lea awhile back and have been lax on posting about them… so it’s time to remedy that right now! Recipe dice! Dice to help me cook!!

Because sometimes you just don’t know what to make for dinner! Roll the dice and find out what ingridents to use. They are also very small, but Leafcutter Designs specializes in small things, like the World’s Smallest Postal Service. Seriously, if you want to do something very unique and special for your Valentine this year, you need to check out the tiny post office and letters!
